Meet Don: Meet the visionary behind Don Welch Construction—the man himself, Don Welch!
Founded in 2017, Don is not only a dedicated entrepreneur but a loving husband to Kim for 5wonderful years. Their family is complete with daughters Natalie and Krista & son-in-law Trent, son Elliott, and 3 precious grandbabies, Caleb, Brazos, and Mesa.
Before crafting dream homes, Don served the community as a Law Enforcement Officer for both Nac PD and Nac SO, as well as a Building Inspector for the city of Nacogdoches. His love for home building started during his 8 years of working for a premier builder in the area, where he decided it was time to branch out on his own.
Job Supervisor
With nearly 40 years in the building industry, Barry Page brings a wealth of knowledge, dedication, and hands-on expertise to every project. He began his career in 1986 at Leslo Sales in Lufkin, working his way up from the yard to inside sales and eventually store manager. Along the way, he built lasting relationships and gained a deep understanding of the construction world.
He later served as store manager and contractor sales lead at Harry’s Building Materials before transitioning to job site supervision in 2011. That’s when he began working closely with Don Welch and learning the ins and outs of homebuilding from the ground up.
Barry officially joined Don Welch Construction in 2018 as a full-time superintendent.
He’s passionate about helping clients bring their vision to life and takes pride in guiding them through the building process with care and attention to detail.
Outside of work, Barry has been married to his wife Lisa for 24 years. He’s a proud dad to Brandon, Tayler, and Dylan—and recently became a grandfather to sweet Ellie Jean. Whether on-site or at home, Barry is all about hard work, family, and building things that last.

Meet Scott: Scott’s been shaping the world of construction for over a year and a half with DWC, helping to lead our projects with precision and expertise.
Known for his expert craftsmanship and a knack for making friends wherever he goes, Scott’s warmth and skill shine on every job site.
When he’s not hammering away, you’ll find him cherishing moments with his beloved family-wife Kim, kids Laura, Kaylee, Doug, and his delightful granddaughters Emma Grace, and Ellie.

Office Manager
Tisha Burgess joined the Don Welch Construction team in January 2023 and brings heart, dedication, and a love for the details to everything she does. A proud mom to three grown children — Hannah, Emma Jo, and Bo Riley — Tisha calls Nacogdoches home.
When she’s not cheering on a softball, baseball, or basketball game, she enjoys getting lost in a good book or watching Ted Lasso. Her senior rescue cat, Winston, currently holds the title of favorite companion, and she’s a passionate advocate for pet adoption. If you’re considering a new furry friend, Tisha encourages you to visit the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter and give a rescue a second chance.
